Students from across the North West of England took part in an online climate conference. Working together to take action on climate change in the current environment is difficult, but all of the students involved showed that they had worked together, researched and learnt much about the topic, both through their work in their schools with the Get Up & Goals Teaching and Learning Units, and in their own time.

Local experts on climate action from local NGOs and Liverpool City Council joined us to inspire students to continue to take local action, and everyone involved committed to doing at least one thing going forwards that would contribute to improving their local environment, and reducing their negative impact. It was a great event!

The conference was designed and run in partnership with the InterClimate Network, using a format and resources developed by them. You can see their full report on the event here e
